Systemly vs ChartAnalyst.ai: Which Fits Forex and Gold Traders

A branded comparison written by one of the two products in it is only worth reading if it can say plainly where it loses. So the declaration comes first: Systemly is our platform and ChartAnalyst.ai is not. Most people searching Systemly vs ChartAnalyst.ai are not really asking which one is better in the abstract. They are asking which one fits the way they already trade, and the honest answer is that the two are built for different jobs and priced accordingly.

The short version. ChartAnalyst.ai reads a picture of a chart you upload and returns a structured trade idea in seconds, for very little money and with no setup at all. Systemly reads raw market data for a fixed instrument list, generates signals against rules you configure, sizes each one against your account balance, and tracks every community signal to a recorded outcome. If you want a fast second opinion on a chart already open in front of you, the first is the better tool. If you want a process you can audit later, the second is.

What ChartAnalyst.ai does well

ChartAnalyst.ai takes a candlestick screenshot and gives back a complete trade shape: a market bias, an entry, a stop loss, two take profit targets, support and resistance levels, a risk-reward figure and a confidence score, with a stated turnaround of under three seconds. It names forex, crypto, stocks and commodities, because anything with candles on it can be photographed.

Three things follow from that design, and all three are real advantages rather than consolation prizes. There is no setup: no broker connection, no data subscription, no instrument list to check yourself against. If you can screenshot it, the tool will read it, which includes obscure tickers and thin markets no data-driven platform will carry for you. It is cheap, with published plans priced well below live-data platforms and metered by uploads per day, so the cost per chart at volume is very low. And you can see the output format before committing anything, since the site shows a preview without an account and hands over a small number of trial credits after a free registration, with no card required at any point.

For a trader whose problem is second-guessing a setup they have already found, that is a well-shaped product. Speed and low friction are genuine features. If that describes your workflow, you can stop reading here and go and use it.

What Systemly does, and what it will not do

Systemly is not a screenshot tool and does not try to be one. It does not accept chart images at all. It pulls raw OHLCV candle data across three timeframes and computes RSI, EMA, MACD, Bollinger Bands, ATR, Stochastic and volume from those source candles, then reads structure, key levels and indicator state to produce a signal with the full reasoning attached.

Each signal carries a direction, an entry zone, a stop derived from market structure, up to three take profit targets with their risk-reward ratios, and a lot size calculated against your own account balance and risk percentage rather than a generic instruction to trade 0.1 lots. The strategy engine then lets you set the rules those signals are generated against: permitted sessions, required confluences, the price action pattern you want present, a minimum confidence threshold, and how aggressively stops are placed. Change the rules and the signals change.

On the Plus and Pro plans you can connect an MT5 account and send a signal's trade to it, with its stop loss and targets attached. Pro can also send orders automatically, which is off until you turn it on. Once it is on, it sends orders for new signals, Systemly's community signals as well as your own strategies, within limits you can change: the lowest confidence score it will take, which markets, the risk per trade and how many trades can be open at once. It never sends a signal from your own strategies that breaks their rules, such as a reward below your minimum or a poor session. It stops after a losing streak you choose; it does not stop at a daily or weekly loss amount. That is a lot of apparatus, and it is only worth having if you intend to use it.

The trade-off is coverage and setup time. Free and Starter cover eight major FX pairs plus XAU/USD, while Plus and Pro open up the full list of 150 or more instruments. If the chart you want read is not on that list, Systemly cannot help you and a screenshot reader can. Configuring rules also takes longer than uploading a picture, which is a real cost on day one.

Systemly vs ChartAnalyst.ai on the differences that actually matter

The input

This is the structural difference, and the rest follows from it. A chart is a rendering of data. When a model reads RSI from a screenshot it is inferring a value from where a line sits on a compressed, scaled axis, and when it reads a close price it is inferring a number from the height of a drawn bar. That inference is usually good enough, and it degrades in exactly the places where precision matters most: at extremes, and around levels that sit a few pips apart. Reading the candles directly removes the estimating step. The full argument, including the cases where it does not make much difference, is in our piece on why reading the data beats reading the picture.

What comes back

Both hand you a trade shape. The difference is what surrounds it. ChartAnalyst.ai returns the levels and a confidence figure. Systemly returns the levels, the reasoning that produced them, and a position size tied to your actual balance. Whether that gap matters depends entirely on whether you intend to learn from the output or simply act on it, and it is worth being honest with yourself about which one you are doing.

What happens afterwards

This is the widest gap of the four. A screenshot read ends when you close the tab. Systemly's community feed runs an internal swing strategy across 15 instruments five times each weekday and tracks every one of those signals to a definitive outcome, take profit one, two, three or stop loss, recording maximum adverse excursion, maximum favourable excursion and time to outcome for each. You can read that log rather than take a summary of it, which is why no headline win rate is marketed anywhere on the platform. The reasoning for judging any provider on its record rather than its marketing is set out in our guide to how forex trading signals work.

Cost and commitment

ChartAnalyst.ai is cheaper by a wide margin, and it should be, because it does less. Systemly's free plan is not a countdown trial: it carries community signals on the major pairs and gold, your first signal when you sign up and two more each month, and the Risk Doctor position sizing tool, with no time limit and no card. Paid plans run from £9.99 a month for Starter through £55 for Plus to £199 for Pro. Backtesting, the opportunity scanner and sending trades to MT5 start on Plus. Pro has unlimited signals and scans under a fair use policy, and can send trades automatically if you turn that on. Paid plans come with a 7-day trial, so you can see them work before you pay. Those are two different kinds of purchase, and the cheaper one is not automatically the better value if it does not do the job you needed doing.

Which one fits a forex and gold trader

If gold is your main instrument, coverage is the first filter and both tools clear it, so the decision has to be made on something else. XAU/USD sits on Systemly's free tier and in the community feed, so you can read tracked gold setups with the reasoning attached before paying anything, and our piece on reading XAU/USD signals with data covers what to look for in them. ChartAnalyst.ai will read a gold chart you upload just as readily, and it will do it faster.

The deciding question is what you do after the analysis arrives. If your process is discretionary and you want a sanity check on a setup you found yourself, a screenshot reader fits that shape and Systemly is more machinery than you need. If you want the analysis connected to sizing, to execution and to a record you can go back through in three months, a screenshot tool cannot take you there and was never trying to.

Where ChartAnalyst.ai is the better choice

Four cases, without hedging. Choose it if you trade instruments outside a data platform's coverage, because an uploaded image is the only input that works everywhere. Choose it if your budget is genuinely a few pounds a month. Choose it if you want to find out whether AI chart reading helps you at all, because it will answer that question in fifteen minutes for almost nothing. And choose it if raw speed is the point and you are working through dozens of charts a day.

Choose Systemly if you want rules you control rather than someone else's, sizing tied to your real account, execution through MT5, and outcomes recorded whether they went your way or not.

Frequently asked questions

Is Systemly better than ChartAnalyst.ai?

Not in any general sense, and we will not claim it. The two read different inputs and answer different questions. ChartAnalyst.ai is better at giving a fast, structured read on any chart you can photograph. Systemly is better at generating rule-based signals from live data, sizing them against your account and holding them to a tracked record. Pick the one that matches the problem you actually have.

What is the best AI chart tool for forex?

There is no single answer, because the category splits on its input. Screenshot readers work on anything and see only what was in the picture at the moment you took it. Data-driven platforms see live prices for a fixed instrument list and compute indicators exactly. For forex specifically, coverage is rarely the constraint, since the majors are carried everywhere, so the useful test is whether you want a one-off read or a repeatable process you can inspect.

Can I use both?

Yes, and some traders reasonably do. A screenshot reader for an instrument you cannot get clean data on, and a data-driven platform for the pairs you trade every day, is not a contradiction. The thing worth avoiding is treating two independent opinions as confirmation when both are reading the same chart and neither knows what the other said.

If you arrived looking for a chart image analyser, we have set the two approaches side by side, including the cases where an image reader is the better choice.

Compare them on your own charts

The only comparison that settles this is the one you run yourself, and you can do it without paying either party. The free tier includes community signals on the major pairs and gold with the reasoning published in full, so you can read the logic and the recorded outcome side by side before deciding anything: Get started now, free and with no card.
